FABS 2023: ‘Historic Sex Work in St. John’s + Experiences in Nova Scotia CRM’ with Johanna Cole

Welcome back everyone! We’re slowly putting our events together for the rest of the year, and are happy to have MUNL Alumni Johanna Cole joining us over Zoom for our first 2023 FABS talk, titled “Historic Sex Work in St. John’s + Experiences in Nova Scotia CRM”.

Johanna fills us in on her current research on historic sex work in St. John’s, as well as her experiences working in cultural resource management (CRM) archaeology in Nova Scotia. Johanna is currently working on her Masters in the Atlantic Canada Department at Saint Mary’s University and works in CRM. We can’t wait to hear updates on her research, and learn more about her time working in the field in Nova Scotia!
